How to make your own splash page for MySurfBiz
If you want to stand out from the crowd, you might want to make your own splash pages. This is also useful if you are promoting on traffic exchanges where sound is not allowed.
Here is a video which shows you how to make a simple splash page for free at TEToolbox, using the MySurfBiz 250x250 banner and linking up to your step1 page.
TEToolbox link
MySurfBiz banners page
The video has no sound, but if you watch it in full screen mode then you'll have no trouble knowing what is going on.

Useful Vid!
Hi Carol,
Thanks for taking the time to post that video. I use TEToolbox a lot and you've just confirmed to me that I ought to make a quick and easy, personalized, splashpage for the TEs...
Good stuff.
Best wishes,
David Hurley

Re: How to make your own splash page for MySurfBiz
I've just got around to making a splash page. Got a bit carried away with the personal branding and might scare people away...
content.tetoolbox.com/splash/47017.html
I like webzone5's page. I'm going to try one with an opt-in box too. I guess that means prospects would join your list without seeing the Step1 page first.
It's so quick and easy (and fun!) to make splash pages on TEToolbox and you can have them all competing against each other on a single tracking link.
Cheers for now,
David Hurley

Hey David
Very Cool... A lot of Faces hehe
You do need an opt-in box
I used a Wordpress theme
The banner goes to my step1 page
And my opt-in box goes to Trafficwave

Re: How to make your own splash page for MySurfBiz
yeah i was thinking about that for my splash page, but then i figured they need to see the step1 page to get the whole story, so i've been sending them there from a link
it would be interesting to see which works better... with or without the optin box - for the splash page

Re: How to make your own splash page for MySurfBiz
I have put an optin box on my page, whereas before I did not have one.
Normally, the optin box should show above the fold, but I prefer the visitor to
see the link to the Step 1 page first because the Step 1 page has an optin form
as well.
It's usually better to have one call to action, either a "click here" or a "form", not both,
but I have decided to try this to see if works better than just using it as a splash page.
Lead Capture Page
I also use this simple splash:

Time will tell.

Hi Jude, how is the new splash page working for you?
Re: How to make your own splash page for MySurfBiz
Hi Carol,
I just started using this page with the form a few days ago, so it is too
early to tell. I'll assess it and post again after it has had much more
exposure.
