TextCrawler Problem
Hello:
The textfile name that I am using is
C:\Users\Laptop\Downloads\step1n2pages\step2.html
that is the only one that I can find
Then when I start entering EasyHits 4u, I get these pop-up windows
1. Replace operation complete
1 file searched 0-occurances, changed in 0 files
2. No matches found in files
Why am I not getting the filename with the path and matches and file size and modified and file type and encoding under the replace button??
What did I do wrong?? Should I try to remove Step1 and Step2 and redownload it again? I will not let me save it to the Desktop. Is it because I am using a Laptop?
Please advise because I am not good with understanding what I did wrong and I watched the video many times to do it.
Thanks,
Denise

Re: TextCrawler Problem
Hey Denise,
You've got to unzip the files first. Try opening your step1n2pages.zip file like a folder. Then copy the files.
Then go to your desktop and paste them. That could work for extracting them.
Now you can load them into the textcrawler.
Hope this helps!
Rick

Do I need to download a unzip program? Apparently I do not have one, can you recommend one?
Thanks
Denise

Re: TextCrawler Problem
If your computer is windows xp or better then it should be able to. Otherwise you can easily
use winzip.
Here's the link:

Let me know if this works for you!

I need to correct a mistake
I was able to download and extract page two ok but I made one mistake
When entering the traffic-splash referral url I accidentally forgot to change it from easyhits4u. Now when I hit the traffic-splash link on my page 2 it brings up easyhits4u.
How do I correct that because I tried to change it in text crawler and it will not let me?
Thank you,
Denise
