Problem with Step 1 Empty Problem with Step 1

Post  success4today Mon Oct 10, 2011 11:53 am

Hello:

When I copy the

Javascript code for your web form

it will not paste it into the textcrawler. Why??

I try to type in in but it still does not visualize the form on step 1. My name is perfect.

Are there separate settings for my computer to allow javascript??

What should I do, remove step 1 and allow my computer to enable javascript?? How do I do that exactly??

Thanks,
Denise

hi Denise,

I've had a look at your step1 page and the javascript looks like it is there, here is what you have:

<scripttype="text/javascript"src="http://forms.aweber.com/form/38/1546743238.js"></script>

http://success4today.webstarts.com/uploads/step1.html

But... you have scripttype, it should be script type. Everything else looks exactly like another javascript on someone else's site.

So you need to go back to TextCrawler for step1, and replace scripttype with script type and then upload to Webstarts again and it should work ok.

Hi Denise,

at this point you should probably delete your step1 file,

then extract the zipped file again to get a fresh copy,

and carefully go through the TextCrawler routine for that step1 page again.

It was probably just a typo or some random mistake, which
you will probably not make again.

That should fix your problem Smile

Problem with Step 1 Empty Thanks

Hello, Carol:

Step 1 worked out perfect and I do not know what happened last time but thank you very much.

By the way, I tried to enter a test email and I did not receive a response. Do I need to add my email messages in Aweber first?

I will do that now but could you just let me know if Steps 1 and 2 are correct?

Thanks, again Carol

Denise

I really appreciate all the training on setting this up.
